I hadn't gone to church my whole life, but I knew that Jesus died for me and loved me more than anyone possibly could. My cousin invited me to children's camp when I was 11. That week God had been speaking to me. So Thursday night during the last invitation I went and talked to one of the counselors. Right then I made the most important decision. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I'm now blessed to have a wonderful youth group and am more in love with God than I've ever been.

Every day, I know that Jesus is there and that I always have Him to lean on. I make my decisions based on the influence that Jesus has placed in my life. I read my Bible every day in order for my relationship with Him to grow. It amazes me every day that we deserve Hell, but because Jesus loved us so much He died for us. I don't care about what people think of me, because it truly doesn't matter. What does matter is the example I set for the people who are watching. I want to leave a {legacy} for people to remember and to follow.

I know that no matter what, God will always love and forgive me. He has a plan for my life. He knows where I'll go to school after I graduate, what career I'll have, who I'll marry and every other aspect of my life. If I am patient and pray, He will show these things to me and I will follow his amazing plan. I do not need to worry about the future, because I know that if I trust Him, God will protect me in everything I do. All I need to worry about is right now and to make sure that what I'm doing is fully glorifying God.
